My Christmas Celebration

December 25 one of the most important day to the lives of everyone especially to the Christians because it is the day where our savior Jesus Christ was born. So , since it’s Christmas I spend my time with my family, but sad to say we were not complete during this time. My father was in his work so with my brother. My eldest brother was not around also he was with her own family, so I spend my Christmas with my mother and my younger sister.

Hahaha, what a celebration, instead of joining to those people who waits December 25 to come, well, I got sleep during this time. I didn’t even notice that my neighbors are having fireworks display. I can say that I spend my Christmas in my bed, sleeping.

It’s Christmas

Christmas season is a season where people are so busy. Busy in preparing their Christmas decors for their home, community, etc. it is the time where ports, terminals and even airports are busy in accommodating the passengers that will go home to their respective places. It is also the time where people are busy in preparing food for the nuche Buena and mega nuche. It is the time where the people are attending the dawn or the night mass which the Filipino called it simbang gabi.

Christmas well it’s a season of giving especially to the children. It is the time wherein they expect gifts from their godparents. It is the time of giving and forgiving. Christmas is one of the most important seasons of the year especially to the Christians like me, because it is the time where our Lord Jesus Christ is born. The message of Christmas is that we should remember our savior Jesus Christ and we should share our blessings to everyone.

Last Week Of Meeting

Last week was our last week of meeting, and we are all happy since ma’am didn’t have her lecture to us. She only said that we should visit our blog site every now and then because she will just post our assignments in the said blog site.

Since ma’am Lynnie didn’t have her lecture with us, we went immediately to City Public Plaza to watch the free and lived band of Siliman University. “The Symphonic Band”. Excellent that’s what I can say to their performance. They are great and talented students of the said university. Unlike Octava Choral Society of MSU-IIT which deals the vocal form of music this Symphonic Band is an instrumental band. They are more on orchestra type of society. I can say that this band is like Octava, the members are excellent and so talented.

The conductor of this band is Prof. Joseph Basa a former classmate of Prof. Englis in Siliman University. This band performed different songs by the used of different instruments only. I think there are more or less 20 instruments they used at the same time and the result is fabulous music.

Assignment Time

Last Wednesday, ma’am Lynnie was not around. I don’t know why. During this time we made our very long assignment which is all about common methods in paragraph development. I think there are seventeen methods of paragraph development and our assignment is to gather samples of each method. Well, I can say that this assignment is okay even though it’s very long, because this is a group assignment. We finished this homework around 2 o’clock in the afternoon, last last Friday.

During our class last last Friday ma’am Lynnie discussed the different criteria in formulating an effective thesis statement and gosh, nosebleed in our activity.

Great and Busy Week

What a week. For this entire week ma'am lynnie is not around. She went to Manila to present her paper on language teaching in an international conference. She will be coming I think next week, but even though ma’am lynnie is not around still we have so many things to do. We have our very long assignment to be passed this coming Wednesday, and we do have also our learning blog. Even if ma’am Lynnie is not around still we are learning from here.

For my humanities subject, well I can say that I have my great week, since I together with my classmates went to St. Peter’s college and watched the Octava choral society performed there. Wow, great, excellent, that’s I can say all about the Octava and so with their performance. That Friday night also was my first time to say a live concert of a choral group and it feels good. I think, if ever the Octava will performed again here in Iligan I will gonna watch it, it’s not because their popular but because I feel contented and I feel that their performance is worth seeing for.
