Second Time of Defense
During this week also we had our second defend regarding to our topic last week. This time it’s not about the specific topic, claim or thesis it is all about our outline. In this activity we defend our work by the critique “which was the group 2” and as what they have comment to us, we’ve done so many errors in our outline. Our sub topic in our Roman II was incorrect, some of our grammar was wrong and some of the ideas needs more improvement and refinement, but for me their comment was good since I have learn a lot from their critique. I have learn that next time we should make an assignment or any other requirement ahead of time since just like what had happened to us we lack time to make this assignment and to refine or restate our ideas that’s why some of the sentences were wrong grammar.
Our First Defense
During in our oral defense that was time for me to defend our work; I was so nervous since I’m not sure if our work is correct or not. I was so nervous that I couldn’t speak up what was on my mind that will help a lot for us to defend our work and for ma’am Lynnie to approve it.
During our second defense I finally speak up what was on my mind and finally ma’am lynnie approved our specific topic, thesis and claim.
I think I should have more practice on talking in front since as what I have noticed in myself, I easily got nervous every time I’m in front to deliver a speech or to defend in front of my classmates and teacher. I’m so conscious with y grammar that I always think of what if the sentence I have said is wrong grammar. I think I have the confident to speak in front of the people but not that much that I always got nervous if it is my turn to speak up my ideas.

Last Friday also we had a very interesting yet very funny activity, funny since many of us aimed for high score but none of the four groups got high score. This activity is on APA and it’s difficult for us to determine the correct format, that’s we got only low score.

Why There Is Road Accident
The first and most common reason why there is road accident is the attitude of the drivers. There being undisciplined towards traffic rules and regulation. Some of the driver’s public and even private vehicles didn’t observe traffic regulations. For instance, there is a sign saying “ no loading and unloading”, instead of obeying most of the drivers didn’t follow this rule especially when there is no traffic enforcer that is assigned in that particular area. They didn’t bother to follow the rules even if they saw, read and understand what it is. Just like what happen to Ebarles Jr. that was killed because of simple traffic incident.
The second reason why there’s road accident is because of money. Some of the drivers’ especially public utility vehicles and taxis are after of the money they will earn for that day for their family expenses. To those drivers that there family only depended to them, they will do anything just to earn money out of driving so fast that sometimes resulted to accidents. They race in the streets to pick more passengers since the more passengers they will get the more money they will earn.
The third reason why there are road accidents is because of crazy drivers. They didn’t think if they will cause an accident or even they will kill innocent people. For them the most important thing to do is to race on the streets. This is most likely to happen in buses and jeepney that didn’t follow traffic rules and regulations which states that there should be specific distance a vehicle will travel for a particular time.
There are other reasons why there are road accidents but these are the most common among the others. As mentioned above, the undisciplined drivers may got killed or they will the one who killed innocent people. Drivers that is only after of money without considering traffic rules is also prone to road accidents and causes street incidents. However, the shattered driver’s wants only to race their car in the streets also cause traffic accidents that lead to someone’s life to death.
What a Week!
Last Friday also we had our symposium which is all about this coming automated election. I didn’t attend this said symposium because I have an important matter to do. When I was going to the exit gate I was surprised because the guard didn’t allow us to go outside the campus. According to them there is a command from the institute that all students should attend the symposium in that is held in the gym. I beg the guard to allow me to go outside because I have important thing to do outside but they are so heartless they didn’t allow me to exit. I went to the security office and beg them. I even cried in front of the security head and thanks’ God, finally they allow me to go out in the campus.
What a day!

Our Exam
Last week also ma’am Lynnie told us to present our topic and thesis statement to her but I wasn’t able to pass my thesis statement and topic since I didn’t get a topic yet which I could have reference. I hope ma’am Lynnie will still accept my thesis and topic if I will pass it this coming Wednesday during our time.

" THE PMA School"

Last September 21, 2008, we went to Baguio City to attend the National Leadership Training held at Teacher’s Camp Baguio, Baguio City. Around 5:30 in the morning when we departed here in Iligan. We were bound to Cagayan at Lumbia Airport. Around 10:30 AM we had our flight going to Manila (NAIA). That was my first time to ride an airplane. I feel nervous, exited and at the same time happy. When the plane started to run in the run way, I feel robust that I couldn’t imagine how fat we were running. When we were on the sky, I saw different islands- it was breathtaking to see above the ground. I saw diminutive and Bumper Island with exquisite color.
It was bleak afternoon when we started our trip going to Baguio. At the rode, I saw high-reaching building with fair design, but when we got out in Manila, the rain was getting heavier, that’s why I didn’t see how beautiful the surrounding was going to Baguio.
We arrived in Baguio at 12 midnight and it was so arctic that even my feet were frozen. After our seminar, we tour around Baguio and the place that captured my interest was the PMA School.
The PMA School is located at Camp John Hay. It was an academe for the cadets who want to serve the country as a soldier. The PMA School is a huge school with distinct buildings. There were lots of buildings of different styles and design. The buildings are high- reaching and bulking. They have also their quadrangle and it was plain with Bermuda grass planted in it. When you are in the quadrangle facing right you can see the three buildings- which are off limits to civilian-the words “Courage, Integrity, and Loyalty” which the PMA school known of.
In different grounds, there were aged helicopters- that according to them those helicopters was used during the Japanese colonization. There were also antiquated canons, and different types of guns that was recovered long time ago.
This academe is located in an elevated area, but if you are inside the campus you can’t notice that it is elevated because you can only see buildings, and their big plain grounds. I can say that PMA School is one of the places that Baguio City is known of

Regular Blog
Last week ma’am Lynnie discussed about the sensory words or the descriptive words. Descriptive words are words that appeals to our senses. In this particular period of time, we had our exercise which was not recorded. We just test our self if how many correct answers we got with the new sensory words ma’am presented to us. Ma’am Lynnie discussed also our next blog task , which is all about descriptive writing. We should make a descriptive writing out of its four types which are: remembrance, description of a place or phenomenon, character profile, and travel brochure.
In my blog task I choose description of a place since I’m comfortable in writing, that describes a particular place than any other form of descriptive writing.
