Last September 21, 2008, we went to Baguio City to attend the National Leadership Training held at Teacher’s Camp Baguio, Baguio City. Around 5:30 in the morning when we departed here in Iligan. We were bound to Cagayan at Lumbia Airport. Around 10:30 AM we had our flight going to Manila (NAIA). That was my first time to ride an airplane. I feel nervous, exited and at the same time happy. When the plane started to run in the run way, I feel robust that I couldn’t imagine how fat we were running. When we were on the sky, I saw different islands- it was breathtaking to see above the ground. I saw diminutive and Bumper Island with exquisite color.
It was bleak afternoon when we started our trip going to Baguio. At the rode, I saw high-reaching building with fair design, but when we got out in Manila, the rain was getting heavier, that’s why I didn’t see how beautiful the surrounding was going to Baguio.
We arrived in Baguio at 12 midnight and it was so arctic that even my feet were frozen. After our seminar, we tour around Baguio and the place that captured my interest was the PMA School.
The PMA School is located at Camp John Hay. It was an academe for the cadets who want to serve the country as a soldier. The PMA School is a huge school with distinct buildings. There were lots of buildings of different styles and design. The buildings are high- reaching and bulking. They have also their quadrangle and it was plain with Bermuda grass planted in it. When you are in the quadrangle facing right you can see the three buildings- which are off limits to civilian-the words “Courage, Integrity, and Loyalty” which the PMA school known of.
In different grounds, there were aged helicopters- that according to them those helicopters was used during the Japanese colonization. There were also antiquated canons, and different types of guns that was recovered long time ago.
This academe is located in an elevated area, but if you are inside the campus you can’t notice that it is elevated because you can only see buildings, and their big plain grounds. I can say that PMA School is one of the places that Baguio City is known of
